London’s Southbank Center has announced a day’s festival “Voices from the East” on May 19, 2024. It will culminate the unique musical project initiated by Kirill Karabits and will celebrate the conclusion of his 15 year tenure as a Chief Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

I’m delighted to take Staatskapelle Weimar on their first visit to the US and a longest ever tour in their history. Actually the orchestra was founded in 1491, exactly one year before Columbus discovered America, so it was about the time for them to come!
